Products, availability & assembly

Due to popularity or interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. Not all products can be purchased online, and not all products online can be purchased in-store. Some items may require self assembly. It may be necessary to make changes to product specifications. We reserve the right to make these changes at any time and without notice.

 

Advice and technical information

Any advice, recommendation, information, technical information, specification, drawing, description, illustration, dimensions, assistance or service provided by us in relation to any products is given in good faith and is believed by us to be appropriate and reliable. However, any such advice, recommendation, information, technical information, specification, drawing, description, illustration, dimensions, assistance or service provided by S&A Homefix in relation to any products supplied by S&A Homefix is approximate only.

 

Consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced at our discretion if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Please choose carefully as S&A Homefix will generally not provide you with a refund or exchange simply because you changed your mind or the product was not what you expected. 

You are required to inspect your products when you take delivery of them. You will be required to note any damage on the delivery documentation which is presented to you by the carrier for signature. In all other cases you will be required to notify us in writing of any damage or shortages within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. We will not be liable for any damage to any of the products unless we are notified within the time period specified above.

Warranty & Returns

Under consumer returns are allowed for major defects. Scuff marks, fabric pilling, loose stitching, tears to dust covers, small tears, softening of foam and fillings and form the shape of the user, generally will not constitute a Major Defect.

S&A Homefix’s liability under this Warranty does not extend to:

a. damage, failure, fading, or deterioration (of the whole of the Product or its components) caused by normal wear & tear; or

b. damage (including corrosion) caused by improper use, assembly, placement, storage care or maintenance, including damage caused by failing to adhere to care instructions.; or

c. damage caused in circumstances where the Product has been used commercially or in a manner which is greater than, or exceptional to normal domestic use; or

d. breakage or damage to glass tabletops or mirrors; or

e. damage caused by Acts of God; or

f. defects in Products sold “As Is” which have been brought to your attention prior to purchase.

g. the cost of transporting the Product to and/or from the specified place of repair or replacement.
